Forever the Sickest Kids are actually a band I've been watching since finding their page on Purevolume about 3 years ago.
I must say, I was impressed by their first demo of "Hey Brittany", which was rather catchy and went beyond the conventional punk rock.
However, their single Whoa Oh! (Me vs. Everyone) was rather disappointing, and I seriously don't know how it found its way to the top of the 987 Top 20, because it just sounded like any other conventional punk rock song out there.
There wasn't that extra element to make the song stand out from the rest.
But I guess the new single Whoa Oh! found the answer.
Yes, they lacked a female voice.
Selena Gomez totally raises the level of this song, making it more, well, diversified.
Overall, this song is definitely very much worth a listen, especially if you're totally sick of the original FTSK-only version.
